2 DAYS SAMBURU FLYING SAFARI

Itinerary

Day 01: Start of your Safari from Nairobi

We will collect you from your hotel in Nairobi or the Jomo Kenyatta International airport and transfer you to the domestic , Wilson airport for your 09.15am flight *. You will be brought to the airport 1 hour prior to the flight. Board your flight to Samburu Reserve, north of Mount Kenya flying time approx 1.5 hrs:
Upon arrival you will be received and transferred from the airstrip to your overnight camp by the camp’s Driver guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle.
The camp is one of the long established lodges here, with an enviable location, right besides the Ewaso Ngiro River.
Check into your luxury tent and some leisure time before a delicious lunch in the camp’s dining area. In case you’d like a brief siesta, now is the time, just after lunch. Proceed for a Safari Gamedrive late afternoon [typically 3.30pm] during which you explore the surrounding parts of the Samburu and see its amazing wildlife. (The safari vehicle may carry other guests from the camp).
Return to the camp by evening [typically 6 to 6.30pm] in time for dinner.

Day 02: Return to Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning gamedrive before breakfast – this is one of the best times of the day to spot animals. Return to the camp in time for a quick breakfast.
Proceed to check out. You bid farewell to Samburu – as you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi [flying time approx 1.5 hours].
Upon arrival in Nairobi, we’ll have our Driver-guide waiting for you at the Wilson Airport for onward transfer to your hotel or to the International airport.
